The Honorable Robert J. Lunn (Ret.) Joins NAM's Distinguished Panel of Neutrals

New York, NY (November 14, 2023) – NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation) is pleased to announce the addition of the Honorable Robert J. Lunn (Ret.) to its highly regarded New York roster of neutrals.  Based in Rochester, Judge Lunn adds further depth to NAM's experienced team of neutrals serving the upstate and western regions of New York State.

Judge Lunn's long and distinguished legal career includes a 14-year term as a New York Supreme Court Justice, where he served as a trial court judge followed by four years as an Appellate Court Justice. Judge Lunn has presided over hundreds of matters including contract disputes, insurance claims, medical malpractice, personal injury, and sexual abuse/sexual harassment cases.

His knowledge, skill, and efficacy have made him an exceedingly effective mediator and arbitrator with an impressive success rate. Judge Lunn has mediated several high-profile cases, ranging from disputes arising out of Hurricane Sandy to settling numerous sexual abuse claims made against the Rochester Catholic Diocese. For his exceptional track record as a mediator, Judge Lunn has been rated “highly qualified” by the Monroe County Bar, the Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys, and the Rochester Black Bar Association.
