NAM’S UM/UIM/SUM CASE SUBMISSIONS INCREASE 70% IN 2015 VS. SAME CALENDAR PERIOD LAST YEAR
NAM reported today that for the first 6 months of calendar year 2015, UM/UIM/SUM case submissions increased more than 70% over the prior year’s same calendar year period. Of particular note is the exponential growth in the number of SUM cases submitted to the company for mediation.
Roy Israel, President and CEO of NAM stated “The increase of uninsured, under insured and supplementary uninsured motorist caseloads suggests that our program is proving to be both desirable and beneficial to our clients. What’s more it affords litigants the opportunity to choose their mediator and/or arbitrator from NAM's panel of highly qualified neutrals, provides efficient case turnaround time and superior case management and the flexibility to have cases heard in any of our six New York State offices. ”
