NAM NEUTRALS HON. HAROLD B. BEELER, HON. JOHN P. DIBLASI AND ERICA B. GARAY, ESQ. TO PARTICIPATE IN NEW YORK LAW JOURNAL CLE SEMINAR FOR IN-HOUSE COUNSEL ENTITLED “AN EMPLOYMENT ADR OVERVIEW, THE LATEST TRENDS AND PRACTICAL TIPS”
NAM panel members Hon. Harold B. Beeler, Hon. John P. DiBlasi and Erica B. Garay, Esq. have been invited by the New York Law Journal to participate in a 6-hour CLE In-House seminar on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Yale Club in New York City. Their presentation will focus on using arbitration and mediation as a means to resolve employment disputes in the workplace.
NAM’s neutrals will be providing their insight on the benefits of ADR when dealing with workplace disputes. Among the topics to be discussed will be the implementation and administration of ADR programs as a means to resolve employee claims of discrimination because of age, race and a hostile work environment. Additional topics will include using arbitration and mediation to protect trade secrets and enforce restrictive covenants, non-compete and non-disclosure clauses found in employment and other agreements. .
Roy Israel, President and CEO of NAM stated: “The use of mediation and arbitration in the resolution of employment disputes has increased steadily over the years. What better way for house counsel to learn more about practical tips and the latest trends than to hear directly from the mediators and arbitrators who are handling these cases on a regular basis. We look forward to a very informative program and thank the New York Law Journal for the invitation to participate.”
When: Tuesday, April 21, 2015 – 8:30am Registration
Where: The Yale Club, 50 Vanderbilt Ave., New York, New York
